While I am originally from the north of Germany I began my training in woodworking and furniture restoration/conservation at “Conservation Letterfrack” in Ireland (www.conservationletterfrack.ie.)
I then worked for several furniture restorers in Hamburg (Germany) before continuing my training at West Dean College in England (www.westdean.org.uk). In 2005 I graduated with a “Graduate Diploma in Antique Furniture Restoration and Conservation” (passed with distinction).
After spending some time employed as a furniture conservator/restorer in Vienna (Austria) I decided to move to New Zealand and set up my own workshop.
I am now based near Dunedin on the South Island but I take on work from all over the country – just contact me and I will be pleased to help you to arrange transport of your object(s) to Dunedin.
